Day 15 | Generosity

Proverbs 11:25 (NKJV)

“The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself.”

REFLECT

We serve God by serving others. Generosity is giving out of the abundance of what God has given you. The cynical heart will cry, “I have nothing left to give.” The selfish heart will say, “I have too many needs to care or too many debts to share.” But the generous heart will testify, “Because I have been given much, I will give much.” Out of gratitude, the generous heart will go the extra mile, beyond simple obedience, to meet the needs of others.

RESPOND

Are you cynical? Are you selfish? Are you grateful for your friends, your family, your career, your income? Ask God to give you a spirit of generosity. Ask Him to make you and the people of our church cheerful givers as we live theMission to know God and help people follow Jesus here, there, and everywhere.
