Day 14 | Giving Obedience

READ

Malachi 3:10 (NASB)

“‘Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test me now in this,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.’”

REFLECT

God deserves your best. He deserves your obedience. God has entrusted you with abilities, with finances, and with time so you can add value to others. This is the heart of ministry, of theMission - to use what God has given you for the benefit of someone else. We generously give to our church, from our first and our best. We give cheerfully, starting with 10% and asking God how much more we can do. Not because God needs your money, but because you have a ministry to fulfill and we are partners in ministry together.

RESPOND

All that you have comes from God. Thank Him for how abundantly He has blessed you. Are you tithing? Your tithe to God through your church multiplies ministry and missions here, there, and everywhere. Ask God to provide for His people so His people can provide for the work He’s called us to do… together.

WRITE

We’re not talking powerful prose or professional poetry. Simply write a word, sentence, phrase, or paragraph that helps you remember what God said to you. We would love to hear how God uses these devotionals in your life. Email your thoughts to next@themission.net and post on our socials. We would love to hear from you.

May God bless you today!

Our mission is to know God and help people follow Jesus here, there, and everywhere.
