Day 1 | Beginnings

Our church is going on a profound journey together. For the next 28 days, we’ll read the same Scripture, reflect on its meaning, and then respond to God. We begin on August 30th and end on September 27th. Pick up a printed copy this weekend at church.

Philippians 1:9 - 11 (NLT)

“I pray your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return. May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation - the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ - for this will bring much glory and praise to God.”

REFLECT

Champions are made one victory at a time. As a Believer in Jesus Christ, God is working in you and through you to make you a Champion for Christ. What are your struggles? Where are your troubles? Be patient and wait on the Lord. He’s not finished with you yet.

RESPOND

God is inviting you to talk with Him. Ask God to help you understand what really matters. Consider how you might be involved in His plan for you, your family, and your church.

WRITE

We’re not talking powerful prose or professional poetry. Simply write a word, sentence, phrase, or paragraph that helps you remember what God said to you.
