Milestones
God designed your family as the primary place for your child’s discipleship. The church is your complementary partner. We create memorable experiences to mark significant family transitions.
Generally, for families with new babies. This milestone is a three-sided promise that marks the beginning of a journey.
From parents, “We will raise this child in the fear and admonition of the Lord.”
From the church, “We will walk with you and help your family grow in wisdom and stature, and favor with God and man.”
From God, “…the Lord’s love is with those who fear Him, and His righteousness with their children’s children.” Psalm 103:17-18
When a child places their faith in Christ, it’s a life-defining decision. We want to celebrate your child’s spiritual birthday with you, your family, and friends.
By making much of their personal faith decision, we emphasize the significance of what Christ has done to save them and encourage them to build habits of faithfulness as they grow in their walk with God and others.
It’s a great party filled with prayer, spiritual activities, ice cream, and cake!
From preschool to kindergarten, 5th grade to Student Ministry, and through Graduation, these milestones help parents and children move from the initial conceptual stages of life to practical instruction in the stories of Scripture, and then, from a childlike faith to a mature faith they claim as their own – living Scripture faithfully and sharing the gospel passionately as they serve others.
These milestones aren’t simply about moving up to a new grade or program. They are opportunities to celebrate how far your child has come, bless them as they enter a new season, and encourage them to continue growing in their relationship with Jesus.
From high school to adulthood, we honor an 18-year journey of faith.
Parents are challenged to become guides, not simply guardians. Students are challenged to carry their faith into their future. The promise of one generation is entrusted to the next.
This milestone is an opportunity to pause, celebrate, and remember the ways God has worked throughout your child’s journey while encouraging them to step confidently into this next season and continue growing in their faith and relationship with Christ.
