John 4:23 (NASV)
“But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.”
REFLECT
What kind of worshiper does God seek? What do you think it means to worship in spirit? What do you think it means to worship in truth? As you express your worship to God today and this Sunday, how will you know you are worshipping in spirit and truth?
RESPOND
Ask God to fill you with His Spirit and the fruit of His Spirit. Ask Him to help you cultivate the fruit of the Spirit in your life so you can share the fruit of the Spirit with others. When we gather as a church for worship, we want our worship to be authentic. Pray that Jesus would be lifted high in every service every Sunday. Ask Go to bring life change as new souls begin to worship Him in spirit and truth.
